DOBSON — During the regular monthly meeting of the Dobson Board of Commissioners on Thursday, incumbent candidates will be sworn in to office along with a new commissioner, Robin Testerman.

Commissioners Lana Brendle and Todd Dockery will be sworn in to retain their seats during the meeting. The board also will vote on who will become the mayor pro-tem.

The board will then open the floor for open comments.

Town Manager John Smith will discuss town projects and general town business before the board adjourns.

The meeting will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at town hall.
