Animals sold on the livestock market, based on 100-pound weights, were:
• Slaughter cows: utility and commercial, $75-$87; cutter and boning, $70-$83.50; canner and low cutter, $45-$72.
• Slaughter bulls: 1,000-1,500 pounds, $87.50-$91; 1,500 pounds and up, $86-$97.50.
• Stock cows: 875-1,050 pounds, (S1) $960-$1,310; 1,050 pounds and up, (M1 & M2) $600-$780.
• Cow/calf pairs: too few.
• Baby calves: $30-$120.
• Feeder steers and bulls: 200-300 pounds, (small frame) $87-$154, (Holsteins) $100-$117; 300-400 pounds, (M1) $154-$197, (small frame) $113-$150; (Holsteins) $107-$118; 400-500 pounds, (M1) $154-$173, (small frame) $100-$152, (Holsteins) $83-$110; 500-600 pounds, (M1) $133-$159, (small frame) $108-$134; 600-700 pounds, (M1) $135-$151, (small frame) $109-$127; 700 pounds and up, (M1) $120-$124.50.
