Mrs. Annie Ruth Ayers Collins, age 67, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Tuesday evening April 24, 2012 at Village Care of King, NC. She was born on August 11, 1944 to the late Colonel Lee and Hazel Irene Brown Ayers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Hazel Mae Ayers and Barbara Lee Ayers. Surviving are her husband Billy Nash Collins Sr. of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law Darlene and Rev. Ken Aman of Mount Airy, Glenda and Javan Martin Jr. of Pinnacle, Linda and Johnny Allen of King; one son and his fiancée Billy Collins and Raynette McMillian of Cana, VA; by seven grandchildren Justin Aman, Candace Aman, Kayla Martin, Brandon Martin, Santanna Collins, Jonathan Allen, Raven Collins; by one great grandchild Jeshua John Aman; two brothers and sister-in-law Wade and Jane Ayers of Pinnacle, Alvin Ayers of Pinnacle. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 28, 2012 at Imogene Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Imogene Cemetery. Rev. Don Collins and Rev. Ken Aman will conduct the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 28, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until time of her service at 2:00 P.M. at Imogene Baptist Church in Mount Airy. The family would like to give a special thanks to Village Care of King for all the love and care given to their wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
