A packed house awaited the 179 graduates at Surry Central High School Friday night. The graduating class pledged to “bring honor to my self and my school…”

Average Grade Point Average of the Class of 2012 is 3.18.
78 percent of the graduating class members are planning on continuing their education.
The students in the senior class have been offered a total of $721,192 in scholarships.
