Mr. Bobby Alvie Mills age 76 of 189 Norman Road, Mount Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Joyce Parker Mills passed away Monday morning, November 19. 2012. He was born April 27, 1936 in Surry County to the late John Archie and Ruby Alma Love Mills. He was a retired electrician and had served his country in the US Army. Surviving are his wife, Joyce P, Mills of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Tony Robertson, Lambsburg, VA, a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe “B.J.” and Alexandria Mills, Pilot Mountain, four grandchildren Crystal Sexton Pack, Lambsburg, VA, Nathan Alexander Mills, and Nevin Joe Mills, Pilot Mountain and Shannon Williamson Shelton and husband, Jamie, Charlotte, and a great grandchild, Christina Pack, Lambsburg, VA, In addition to his parents, Mr. Mills was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Williamson and two brothers, Jack Mills and Kenneth Mills. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Indian Grove family Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Eugene Brinkley. The family will receive friends 2-3 Pm Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home of Mount Airy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
