Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brett Stanley

Hannah Rena’ Comer and Robert Brett Stanley were married on May 12 at Cody Creek Park, Dobson. Dr. Andy Atkins officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon and Michael Hayes of Dobson and Kevin and Marie Comer of Dobson. She graduated from Surry Central High School in 2008 and received a Bachelor of Science in accounting at Gardner-Webb University in 2011. She is a staff accountant at Larco Construction Company in Winston-Salem.
The bridegroom is the son of Bobby and Cheryl Stanley of Elkin. He graduated from Surry Central High School in 2006 and received a Bachelor of Science in building sciences at Appalachian State University in 2006. He is employed at Harris Leather & Silverworks in State Road.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Kevin Comer.
Haley Comer of Dobson was her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Stella-Lynn Sprinkle and Haley Smith, both of Dobson; Megan Stanley of Elkin, sister of the bridegroom; and Kayla Stanley of Dobson, cousin of the bride.
The flower girls were Sadie Grace Hayes of Mount Airy, Caroline Brown of Elkin and Katelyn Patterson of Mount Airy. Jordan Comer of Advance was the ring bearer.
The bridegroom’s father was best man. The ushers were Preston Harris of State Road; Logan Jarrell of King; Hunter Hayes of Dobson, brother of the bride; and John Hill of Dobson, cousin of the bridegroom.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in the Bahamas. They reside at 2540 Dobbins Road, Boonville.
