MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Cynthia Diane Young Rumley, 58, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Rumley was born March 14, 1954, in Surry County. Surviving are her husband, Gregory Rumley of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lee and Melissa Felts of Claudville, Va.; one stepdaughter, Samantha Wilson of Mount Airy; and six grandchildren, Bubba Felts, Ashley Felts, Michael Felts, Christian Wilson, Morgan Wilson and Heavenly Wilson. Mrs. Rumley was preceded in death by her mother, Magdalene Young; and a daughter, Shona Sheryl Felts Dawson. The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
