Shelton Companies in Dobson recently sold Bello Vino LLC to Carmine Farina, who operates two restaurants in Winston-Salem: Francesco’s on Jonestown Road and University Parkway, Shelton Companies announced Wednesday.
The restaurant is located beside of Shelton Vineyard’s Hampton Inn and Suites, on Twin Oaks Road in Dobson. It will close on Monday, March 11 and reopen on Tuesday, March 26 as Carmine’s, an Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. Carmine’s will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
Farina said that he is excited to have the restaurant open to serve the people in the area and visitors coming to the Yadkin Valley Wine Region. His menu will offer a variety of Italian dishes and will feature his homemade sauces and breads.
Carmine grew up in Naples, Italy and moved to the United States in 1997. He worked in New York and New Jersey for two years before moving to the Triad. He worked at several locations of Elizabeth’s Italian restaurant before opening Francesco’s in Winston-Salem.
