Mount Airy Bear Sam Harris pitched a 4-0 shutout against Bishop McGuiness at home on Friday during the Bear’s conference home opener.
The Bears moved to 2-2 overall and are 1-0 in the conference. They will play East Surry on today at 2 p.m. to make-up a game that was postponed because of weather.
Head Coach Jon Cawley could not reached for comment on the game before presstime.
