CANA, Va. — Mr. Dannie Lee Haynes of Cana, Va., passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Haynes was born March 10, 1950, in Carroll County, Va., to the late, Robert Fonzo Haynes and Hassie Mae Dawson Haynes and was retired from Wellington Leisure Products. Surviving are three sisters, Clara Hall of Nellies Ford, Va., Ina Haynes of Cana and Judy Flinchum of Mount Airy; and one brother, Roy Haynes of Cana. In addition to his parents, Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by three brothers, J.R. Haynes, Charlie Haynes and Joe Haynes; and a special nephew, Stanley Haynes. To remember Dannie, the family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home.
