The Rev. Rayton and Faith Montgomery Puckett of Hillsville, Va., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 26, 2009, at the Lone Star Steakhouse in Mount Airy. The hosts for the celebration were their children and spouses, Ray and Jo Puckett, Glenda and Donnie McCormick, Stan and Kay Puckett and Steve and Lori Puckett. They have seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The Pucketts were married by the Rev. Robert J. Mann, Dec. 22, 1949, in Stuart, Va. Mr. Puckett is an evangelist and Mrs. Puckett is a housewife.
