The Greyhounds won the games, 25-18, 25-8 and 25-21, with Morgan Bunker leading the team on offense with 10 kills and 12 digs, while Molly Martin was 8-for-8 with three aces on the service line, had seven kills, six digs and 12 assists.
On defense, Emily Culler finished the match with 15 digs and was 9-for-10 on serves.
Other players helping bring in the three winning sets were Courtney Smith with nine kills and three blocks; Ellie Atkins had 23 assists; Nicole Rumplasch had six kills and six blocks; Morgan Midkiff was 20-for-22 with three aces from the service line; and Kristina Rumplasch had four kills.
“We were really good at times, and other moments we looked like we were on cruise,” said Coach Shane Slate of his team. “During cruise time, we had too many unforced errors.
“I thought we did a really good job defensively of picking up their cut shots around the block, tips over the block and converting those opportunities into offense,” he said. “We obviously had a nice balance with our attackers again tonight, and that allowed us to be aggressive at the net.”
The Greyhounds are now 10-1 and 5-0 in the conference.
