Mrs. Omie Blanche Call Johnson, age 98, of Speedway Road, North Wilkesboro died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Woltz Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM, May 1, 2012 at Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. David Wellborn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 at the church prior to the service. Mrs. Johnson was born February 19, 1914 in Wilkes County to Nathan and Carrie Johnson Call. She was a member of Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Johnson; twin daughters; a son, Charles R. Johnson; sisters and brothers, Julia Call Madison, Leonard Call, Elbert Call, Christal Call, Stella Call Warner, Sherman Call, Jenettie Call Harris, Sanford Call, Clyde Call, Richard Call, Vera Moore. She is survived by: a daughter, JoAnn Bauguess and husband, Ted of Elkin; grandchildren, Leanne Routh and husband, Aaron of Mt. Airy, Jennifer Johnson, Nathan Johnson both of Morganton, Tammy McCoin and husband, Tim of Elkin, Dwayne Bauguess and wife, Amanda of Roaring River; great-grandchildren, Grant Routh and Garrett Routh.
