WINSTON-SALEM — Barbara A. Green, 48, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Charlotte on Nov. 28, 1963, to Irene Martin Green and the late Charles Fredrick Green. She graduated from Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Ill. She attended Lake County Community College, where her major was child development. After returning to Mount Airy in 1994, she obtained her CNA and became a member of First Presbyterian Church. She moved to Winston-Salem and worked in child care at Baptist Hospital and at Forsyth Hospital on the Cardiovascular Unit. She had a special gift caring for the ill and mending. Surviving are her mother, Irene Green of Mount Airy; brothers and sister-in-law, James Albert Green of Mount Airy and Edward and Jessie Green of Temperance, Mich.; and sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jim Swain of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was beloved aunt to Kelly Netolicky, Casey and Kathleen Swain, Mary Elizabeth Green and Amanda Boester; and great-aunt to Max Netolicky. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church by Dr. Steve Lindsley. Burial will follow in Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church at 326 S.
