SILOAM — Mrs. Judy Key Hayes, 63, of Siloam, wife of David Hayes, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 14, 1949, in Forsyth County to Barley and Mattie Harbour Key. She was retired from the Surry Friends of Seniors and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, David Hayes of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda Hayes Cain and husband, Michael, of the home and Susan Hayes France and husband, Tim, of Mount Airy; a stepgrandson, Allen France of Mount Airy; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Cheryl Jordan of Pinnacle and Kathy and Bill Branch of Ararat; brother, Terry Key of Stokesdale; several nieces and nephews; nad special friends, John, Karla and Karae Schuler of Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Cheyanne Patricia Cain and Abbagail Marie Cain; and an infant sister, Patricia Ann Key. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Pine Ridge Baptist Church by the Rev. Johnny Johnson, the Rev. Randy Edwards and the Rev. Travis Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from noon until the time of the service.
