MOUNT AIRY — Ms. Shona Sheryl Felts Dawson, 38, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at her home. Ms. Dawson was born July 28, 1974, in Forsyth County. Surviving are her stepfather, Gregory Rumley of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Lee and Melissa Felts Jr. of Claudville, Va.; one stepsister Samantha Wilson of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Dawson was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Diane Young Rumley. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
