MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Alice Frances Webb Willis, 83, of Mount Airy passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Carroll County, Va., on Nov. 23, 1929, to the late Wilburn Otis and Pearl Easter Webb. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Denise Willis of Mount Airy; a grandson, Brett Cameron Willis of Raleigh; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jack Taylor of King; a brother, W.O. Webb, Jr. of Mount Airy; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband, Lansford Willis; two sisters, Annie Belle Jones and Marie Venable; and a brother, Jack Easter. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Jimmy Joyce, and Elder Gleason Worrell officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
