MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Jerry Aubrey Leftwich, 69, of Mount Airy, passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born in Surry County on Jan. 17, 1944. Mr. Leftwich is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Will Brookshire of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Tyler Smith and Lauren Smith; sisters, Martha Collins, Shirley Raycraft and Barbara Leftwich; and a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Rawley “Dink” Haynes Jr. and wife, Debbie. Mr. Leftwich was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Louise Dowell Haynes and Frank Aubrey Leftwich; and a brother, Steve Haynes. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013, at True Vine Baptist Church with the Rev. Rawley “Dink” Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Garden. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to True Vine Baptist Church, P.O.
