Shoals Elementary names science fair winners


The fifth grade winners were, first place, Braden Snow and Lane Snow for “What Type of Apple Has the Most Seeds?”; second place was Jasmine Woodard for “Can Liquid Change a Gummy Bear?”; and third place, Bella Hutchens, for “Swimtastic.”

Shoals Elementary School recently held its annual science fair, with students researching and putting together displays to show off their projects.

The overall school winner was Nate Parrish, with “Tooth Decay: Rethink what you drink!” Second place went to Sophie Hutchens for “H2O — What you Need to Know,” and third-place went to Kate McCraw for “Stain, Stain Go Away.”
